IPP Equity Assessment
The Office of Equity and Anti-Racism Initiatives (OEA) in partnership with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (EECD) is conducting an equity assessment of Individual Program Plans (IPPs) to identify and remove systemic barriers in education for learners of African Nova Scotian, African and/or Indigenous descent.
If you are a parent or guardian of a learner of African Nova Scotian, African and/or Indigenous descent, who is or has been on an IPP at any point, you can participate in the assessment by sharing your experience in one or more of the following ways:
- Virtual Focus Group Sessions – IPP Equity Assessment - Parent & Guardian Engagement Sessions Registration, Multiple Dates | Eventbrite
- Online Survey - IPP Assessment Parent/Guardian Survey (qualtrics.com)
- Written or recorded submissions to ipp@novascotia.ca
Your input will help to ensure barriers are removed to provide an equitable experience for all learners.
